Born in México City, Julio has worked as a freelance designer and at Pentagram Design, where he worked on a broad range of branding, print, web and packaging projects. Julio received a BFA in Graphic Design from San José State University, where he is currently a Lecturer in their Department of Design. He served as the Diversity Chair at the AIGA San Francisco Board of Directors from 2012-2018 and is also an avid illustrator.
